Quiz Night
Every Thursday is Quiz night – Lots of fun and cash prizes too. There’s normally the chance to win at Card Bingo, Meat Raffle and sometimes a Mandy’s Question in the middle!
Quiz Starts at 9pm – but it’s best to get there early because the tables usually fill up real quick. Entry is £1 per person – and there’s no “official limit” on team size – how many can you get round a table?.
The quiz is run by Nigel and his lovely assistant (err.. sorry, that should be “lovely boss”) Alison.
It’s usually (but not always) a picture round and a words round (to be done at ones own pace), then a General knowledge round of 30 odd questions, and finishing with a music round in which you need to name the artist and the song from 10 music snippets. There’s cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place, a packet of crisps for last place and the rest of the entry fees go to charity.
